Tasting Note
Red violet colour, with purple hues. On the nose the wine leaves subtle aromas of ripe fruits (blackcurrants, raspberries). On the palate it is fresh, structured and very fruity.
Food Matching
Works well on its own but perfect with spicy dishes, Thai food, smoked and cured meat or barbecues.
Vineyard
The rainfalls have been the main characteristic growth cycle. Last year began with cold and humid winter leaving a warm and pleasant spring that favoured an optimal budding and good vegetative cycle development.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in steel tanks where temperatures go up to 28 -29º and quick devatting, once the colour extraction (tanins and anthocyanins) is at the optimun level. 25% of the wine is aged for 12 months in 4 year old American oak casks.
