Ingredients

1 1/2 oz gin

1 oz Benedictine

1 oz lime juice

1/4 oz simple syrup

2 oz soda water

1/2 oz cherry brandy

Lemon slice and maraschino cherry

 

Method

  1. Pour the gin, Benedictine, lime juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes and shake well.
  2. Strain into highball glasses over fresh ice.
  3. Pour in the soda water to top up the drink

Caipirinha

Ingredients

2 limes chopped into wedges

6 tbsp golden caster sugar

6 oz cachaça

 

Method

  1. Put the lime wedges in a large jug with the sugar, then use a muddler or the end of a rolling pin to break them down. 
  2. Release as much juice from the wedges as possible, and let it mix with the sugar to create a syrup. Discard the lime peel.
  3. Divide the syrup and cachaça between four glasses, then top with the crushed ice.

  1. In a large pitcher, add the sugar, oranges, apples and lemon and muddle for 30 seconds.
